CALAFRIO TTRPG

Roaming calmly through the streets and alleys of an early morning, a mysterious group of people seems to be looking for something. Despite the dense fog, the bitter cold and the heavy coats protecting them from the weather, everyone is alert, and some are even excited - the phenomenon that will take shape in the next few moments will indeed be a spectacle.

None of the people here can be considered mundane. Some of them carry umbrellas and other accessories that quickly turn into bladed weapons in the blink of an eye. Others illuminate the path only with a strong, luminous pulse of energy that comes from the palm of their hands. One of them, in particular, whispers a series of incomprehensible sounds into his stuffed animal-shaped bag, which immediately begins to squirm and take on a semblance of life, even if it is only made up of cotton and plastic. Certainly, none of these people are pulling pranks or doing stunts, because tricks are not capable of such feats. We are dealing with beings who have received an unusual gift from nature: the ability to manipulate the world around them with the power of their mind alone.

Calafrio is an urban and paranormal-themed tabletop RPG that places you in the shoes of an individual who has acquired extraordinary extrasensory powers (whether by chance, innate talent, or some greater force). You will need these abilities to confront monstrosities, unravel enigmas, and overcome obstacles within a parallel society, all while surviving the daily chaos of an urban metropolis.

About this Version

This project was born out of an academic exercise in graphic and game design, inspired by urban legends and folk tales from the city of Curitiba in Brazil. As it still needs playtesting for balancing purposes, version 1.0 will be available for free. However, if you like the result and want to support the solo team developing it, consider buying it at whatever price you consider fair.
